Had to wait an hour at the checkin. Buffet was opened half an hour late. 2 times somebody tried to come in my room even doh it had a number on it. Very dark hallway, loud at night. The hotel and the room need some maintenance, but its ok. Also the food is ok. When when checking out, they wanted to sign me a blank page and told me they will print it later. Id say a alright place if you need to stay somewhere for a night.

My first time at this hotel was in 2013 and again in June 2017. A good hotel and active airport transfers, there is not really any significant improvement in the hotel since 2013 that i was there, the management of the hotel has also dropped considering the first visit. But still nice and secure hotel considering the security situations in the city of Douala.

I stayed at this hotel because it has a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and it really worked fine, I was a Xaaval waiting for me with a sign with my name on the way out of the airport on arrival in Cameroon. The hotel itself is not a big deal, very few customers, the staff speaks French, with little understanding of English. room price: 22,500 CFA, about 34 euros, without breakfast included. The room, the 204, without hot water, with satellite television, comfortable bed. Very good dinner and breakfast at a reasonable price. I hired a guide service with the hotel taxi driver, Roland, who speaks French and English and is very honest and valid. wifi fast and free.

The pictures describing the hotel, as well as its location can only be said to be FAKE NEWS!!! The hotel is minutes from the airport only as the crow flies. The actual journey means it takes as much time to drive into the centre of Douala! Old, smelly, dark, heavy furniture, basic amenities, dimly lit corridors. I did not bother even to try and have breakfast. Once i discovered my plane was delayed, I promptly changed hotels!

Our first room the air conditioner did not work and there was no hot water in bathroom. We called front desk twice, they said they were sending a technician but none came. My husband even cleaned the a/c filter (which was full of dirt and looked like it had never been cleaned). We were so tired, we ended up falling asleep for 4hrs, only to wake up at 2a.m. covered in sweat and unable to sleep because it was so hot and humid. At that point, we walked down to reception and they came up to our room. At first they held their hands under A/C and said "it's working," and we had to explain that just because the fan works doesn't mean the A/C works. They did eventually transfer us to another room with functional A/C and we were able to catch a few more hours of sleep. The beds were comfortable, staff friendly, security seemed good, location was good. Bathrooms functional, though toilet seats were dirty appearing or absent and shower was euro-style (i.e. no barrier between toilet and shower).
